    DO we have the same automatic transmition as the Trans Am?

    Are the gearing the same?

    Yes.

      Gearing is different. The auto come with a 3.23 gear where as we have 3.08 or 3.42

        I believe he was asking about the transmission. I don't see the rear end mentioned anywhere.

            also ho can the get to 150 and we can only get to 120? is it just because of the horsepower difference?

                the tachs are different cuz, why have the same for both the V6 and V8 when the v8 has so much more power to be able to pull for 150 w/? you can get a 150 mph speedo installed on your car as long as whoever is putting it in transferrs whatever chips needed to the new gauge display so the speedo needle reads right as well as the rpm needle.

                  What chips are you talking about? The tach will only show 75% of the actual RPM on a V6.
