  • Gains from Aluminum DS?

Title pretty much says it. I installed The aluminum DS today and took it for a spin but I didnt feel a difference. COuld it be I am thrown off by driving my motorcycle around. What did everyone else experience with this upgrade?

you probably won't notice too much of a difference at all, maybe a MPH in the traps.

i have the same mod and think it's a little overrated, but it's nice to say that i have an aluminum driveshaft and from what i could see, my two piece was an accident waiting to happen anyway.

I noticed my car putting the power down a bit faster (spins easier causing the rear tires to want to move earlier in acceleration). Maybe 1-2 HP more put down to the wheels would be my guess. But less rotating mass = less rotational loss = more HP/TQ to the ground.

Also, less mass = less strain to the drivetrain and mount points during acceleration/braking.
