I am installing a auburn LSD and 3.42 gears. I am doing it myself. I know some of you have done it before and I was wondering if there was anyhing you could tell me to look out for or be careful of.

you getting the whole rear end or just the rear set and diff? i'm guessing you've never done a ring and pinion before... might not be something you want to get into.
best advice i can give: torque everything to spec, clean gasket mating surfaces thoroughly!Comment

I bought the auburn high performance limited slip differential, and a set of richmond 3.42's. I have had them for about 4 months, and finally got the time to put them in. if its c clips its gonna be easy. I have to wait until monday though. Stupid machine shops wont press my bearings on and the only place that'll do it is closed for the weekend.
