My tranny has had a problem since it was wrecked out. When it goes from 2nd to 3rd and up shifts it slips and won't hold well, basically the rpms fluctuate between 2k-3,5k. Then even when accelerating still and it shifts to 4th it drops LOW to like 1,5k and still slips upward. What I normally do is accelerate out of it and push the rpm range out of what I lovingly refer it as the 'slip zone'. From what I know of auto trannys is that I think it is the clutch packs. I'm praying it isn't so severe as they have to rebuilt it. My question to all you balls-to-the-wall tranny gurus is what do you think it is thats crappin out? If there's any further info you need just let me know.
