I know everytime everyone asks this questions they always get the same response... you broke a tranny mount, WRONG! If it makes no noise only moves there is most likely another problem. I checked my tranny mounts myself they are perfect, however I did find where the problem is. The rear extension, more specifically, the housing. If you don't know what this is its the brace that is on the driver's side of your driveshaft. It has a bushing that connects this to the rear of your transmission. Slide under the car and looked at mine, it basically looks like someone hit it with a sledge. Now that I know what the problem is, I have another problem. No one sells just the bushing that I need and only GM sells anything that will help. They will generously sell me the whole rear extension housing for only $400. Anyone know where I can get this cheaper or just the bushing? or should I start checking junk yards and part cars.
