  • Neal Torque Converters, and Motive Gear R&P sets

Ok I am running on 3.08's and that is truly disgusting. Did a little research and 3.42 would probably be what i would go with. My question is, after taking a look at This Page they have a Neal Racing (not the bullet proof) 4L60E 2500-2700 Stall W/ Lock Up stall for $400. Most "good" converters are like $700+. I did a search, and I couldn't find anything on if anyone has one of these, and any reviews/ET's for it either.

And another thing...from the same website they have the Motive Ring and Pinion 3.42 Gear Ratio For 3 Series Carrier for $189. this also seemed kinda low....

Can anyone help me? thanks in advance

I got a GM set of 3.42's w/ 15000 miles on them for $25 off ebay. GM gears are the strongest.

      Good Idea!

How did the 3.42's affect your gas mileage?
