  • clutch or trans trouble...

recently the clutch or tranny has been stubborn about letting me shift into first at a dead stop. i think it gets worse when the car warms up or when the engine is hot. i checked the clutch reservoir and the fluid is all mucky and dark. not clear at all. do you think its been boiling? or is it supposed to be like that?

that might be a problem, but if it boiled over then there's probably another reason why it did I think.

i was going to change the trans oil but i'm not so sure about doing it anymore.

i've never dealt with hydraulic clutches before, how do i change/bleed the line?

and where is that darn drain plug and fill hole on the transmission? i looked today and i could find nothing that looked like either.

sorry for the long post, but i need your help.

thanks, but the instructions on that page are kind of common sense. do you have pictures or descriptions of where to look for the drain plug and fill hole? i can't find them on my trans. probably looking in the wrong place.
