Yeah man, there are 4 bolts holding the tranny to the bellhousing. When you remove those bolts, you can pull the tranny away from the bellhousing. Remember not to press the clutch pedal while the tranny is out because your clutch disc will fall out of alignment with the input shaft on the tranny.- Josh
If you have any questions or need installation pics/help, e-mail me: Viper98885@aol.com
\'93 Camaro Hardtop
\'01 Lincoln LS8 Sport
\'00 Yamaha YZF-R6
Full Throttle Performance

uh, what about the main input shaft? doesn't it go deep into the trans? if you yank out just the trans with the bell housing still there, isn't it going to be a problem getting it back in?Silver \'98 Camaro M5
Current MODs:
SLP strut tower brace; SLP 1LE swaybars front/back; Powerslot rotors; Hawk pads; Eibach springs; Bilstein SLP shock kit; SLP trans mount; Zexel limited-slip differential; LS1 drive shaft.
Possible future MODs:
BMR Lower Control Arms; BMR Pandhard Rod.

The input shaft is part of the tranny. You will pull the tranny out and the bellhousing and clutch assembly will stay in there. Everything else will come out.- Josh
If you have any questions or need installation pics/help, e-mail me: Viper98885@aol.com
\'93 Camaro Hardtop
\'01 Lincoln LS8 Sport
\'00 Yamaha YZF-R6
Full Throttle Performance

I just did this to a friends car about a month ago and it is no problem but something that will make it a million times easier is to get lon studs the size of the hole in the bell housing get the tranny on those studs and push it right in. If you don't do this you may have to wiggle the sh#$ out of it and to the input shaft of the new tranny to make it line up. Not to bad of a job took me about 5 hours.Xnenon headlight conversion
k&n cold air induction
85 shot of nitrous (NOS)
255 lph walbro fuel pump
80 series flowmaster
z rated 255/50\'s
misc. auto meter tach and a-pillar
