  • Quick LSD question...

    I have located a 84-87 camaro with a V8 and factory rear end, the rear is for sale and for only $100, Does anyone know if the rear end will be posi??? Or what kind of gear it might have??? If I have to pull the rear cover off can i tell by looking at it?? What sould I look for??

    Any info will be appreciated...

    Don't know the answer to your question, but didn't you just install LSD and 3.73s?

      If it has posi, it'll likely be a clutch type, and since its so old it'll likely be worn slap out.

      Get a newish one, especially if you want a clutch kind.

          the axles may be 26 spline and not 28 like what you need, in that case no it won't work at all..
