ahaha where were you in december... if your 4L60e worked fine I woudl have traded you straight up and all you would have to have done was buy a 5-speed(since mine was trashed), I got one off of 50 down near the track for $320, out of a 97 with 10k miles(so they say.
Either way, I have a bellhousing, I'll sell to you for $20? I'll even throw in a 5-speed flywheel, some say it can be resurfaced, some say it needed to be replaced, I just replaced it on my car.
IM or e-mail me, we can meet up wednesday night at a car meet.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

PS I am Orlando... east orlando to be specific.
As far as the swap goes...
you'll need
pedals
shifter
tranny
bellhousing
I "think" 5-speed crossmember
flywheel
clutch
Master and slave hydraulics
As for computer stuff, I think some peopel have figured it out, but since its a 97 you coudl probalby buy a PCM, and resell yours.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

$50 - 95-02 V6 T5 bell housing
$50 - 95-02 V6 manual transmission flywheel

I have a bellhousing I'll sell you for $20 and a flywheel I'll throw in, that might be able to be resurfaced.
some say it couldn't be resurfaced some said it could. Never had a professional look at it. all just car guys looking at it.
I am gonna be at a car meet at UCF tonight if you want to come out and check and buy them. between 9:30-midnight most likely.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

not sure i found one place with specs centerforce, can't remember which one.... the price was "ok" but got a better deal from thunderraccing so I went through them.
Forgot how I found it I think I just did a search on the part numbe for the spec clutch or for the CF one, in google and a bunch of places popped up and i started checking prices, and one of them happened to be in orlando.
But in the end, seemed buying out of state was cheaper. Sure you have shipping but its not that much and its generally cheaper then sales tax, in FL on someting like a aftermarket clutch.
If I was motivated enough I woudl consider selling mine for $200, has like 3k miles on it. But not sure its worth my time to pull it out of my car.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

Where do you get the PCM reprogrammed?
Does anyone know if a flywheel from a 91 s10 will work on a 95 (3.4) camaro motor? For some reason, I think the crank-to-flywheel bolt holes are different but every picture I have seen they look similar.

I "think" they are the same(assuming its from a 2.8L s-10. But you have to look I don't remember exactly what but I believe there was something with counterweighted flywheels and non-counterweighted flywheels on different 60* v6s over the year.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251
