you should try another store. I replaced my trans mount, and they never mentioned anything about it being hydraulic to me.
FYI, it will be GM part # 22145293 and is about $59.00 ordered through them.

bah go to autozone and ask for a transmission mount for a Camaro (94 and up is ok...mine is for a 95 LT1 and it still works)

edit: It's around $25 and it has a LIFETIME warranty. I busted it once (again ) and I got a free replacement. Can't go wrong with it.

Normally, just after you let off of the gas peddle after hard acceleration, you'll hear a "BANG" sounding like it's right underneath you. Or, you can take a floor jack and slowly jack up the rear of the trans where it meets up with the driveshaft, if you see the trans start to seperate from the crossmember, it's time for a new mount. Only need to jack it up a little bit, don't go crazy with it.

and if you have an automatic, under hard acceleration (4,000rpm upshifts or higher) you'll feel like a bowling ball is hitting the bottom of your car where the transmission is (when in fact it's your tranny hitting the bottom of the car

Why not just get a polyurethane mount? They are like 20 bucks, and last alot longer and are nice and tight
