Hey guys, i'm having trouble shifting to 2nd. I still can go into second but not smoothly and easily, I usually have put a little bit of strength from the first to second shift to get it in there. If I try shift into second softly, it will not get in there unless I apply force. I don’t think it’s my clutch cause that’s basically new and it’s a spec stage 3. I think it’s my tranny, but what is this a sign of? Tranny rebuild? Or is it something that’s simple?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
p.s. i had my tranny fluid checked and it is apparently fine.

I have the same problem right now. 2nd gear synchros are shot. I am going to pull my transmission this weekend and check it out. I will either get a G-Force heavy duty rebuild kit or just do the standard rebuild. A standard rebuild kit will run about $300 and the G-Force heavy duty kit runs about $1300.
I was just going to do the standard but now it is kicking out of gear so it is something more then just the sychros. I probably have something bent in there (a little too much torque).
