10% difference is only for 3.08->3.42, from 3.23->3.42 you will only be 6% off. Your speedo will be showing you going FASTER than you actually are. So if it shows you going 70 you will actually be going 65.8.
You will have no issues with ABS or traction control. I changed both gears and my diffy when I did a swap so I needed a new ABS reluctor ring ($20 from slp), however, I believe you only need this if you change your diffy as well.

you divided 3.23 by 3.42 and got 0.94444444444 which is good, however, you then need to subtract that from 1 and then multiply by 100.

Either way if you do swap gears... any gears
Its going to mess up your odometer, you are going to be putting on miles faster then you should.
I went from 3.23s to 3.42s, I "think" no scientific calculation but I was getting 1.2 showing per every mile I traveled.(trip reset, at a mile marker to the next mile marker)
So mileage will jump on your car. I didn't care because I had a 94 with like 115k, its value was pretty much low anyways. Only reason I didn't do an upgrade form 3.23s to 3.42s with a rear axle swap on my 2000 was the added cost of having to fix my computer.
So instead I just installed a LSD unit instead of an axle swap.
