I just took of my trans pan and changed the filter and some fluid.I did put a new gasket there but overnight it was leaking fluid.do I need to use some sealant??

you shouldnt need a sealer if you had a gasket.
did you get all the old gasket off? (it sticks to the steel pan pretty good)
did you follow the correct pattern for tightening the bolts? (you start in opposing corners and alternate working towards the opposite corner)
are the bolts tightened to the right torque? (i forget how much right now -- you might search on that).
