Yeah, you are most definitely not running anywhere near mid 14s. Low 16s is more like it. Maybe high 15s if your car's fast.

Don't even start on the whole race gas thing. You're totally wasting your money.

I have been running it to burn the crap out of the car and burn up all the carbon, it sat for too long, and was driven by a panzy too long. When I first started it and got to put some 92 in it and some stabalizer it ran like crap... I had a hard time getting it above about 80.. Now I rock it all the way down and she just goes like nothing else. I'll back it back down to 97 octane its running much better, and as soon as I replace my front end bushings and my tires, I'll give it a run and see what my 1/4 is.

Not sure what I'll run but we'll see. I got a little work to do still, get its suspension fixed and my trans leak. plus replace my bad lifter.

Don't expect it... the 3.4L n/a record was at 15.4 for 3 years and was jsut recently broken to a 15.0. People with ALOT more mods, and alot more experience at the track have yet to pull a high 14 n/a yet alone a mid 14.

beating someone on the road has nothing to do with your 1/4 mile time a million factors come in.

As for running high octane, just wasting your money, go buy a can of sefoam and do a search in Gen tech, will fix most of your problems if you have carbon build up.

Oh ya already ran 6 cans in misc spots, did that durring and after oil changes. Also ran 2 bottles of fuel system cleaner from chevron and a bottle of injector cleaner just to make sure. Also used Lucas oil additive in my last change, and Slick 50 in my second. Grabbed a bottle of TB cleaner and sprayed like he77 into my intake. I'm not sure what to expect running, I wont be running this car until I get a few more things done, I got my bike Yamaha R1 '99 "last year carb'd " and a '79 Monte SS 502 for that, < not my car though, pulls low 10's with him driving it, I ran high 10s and low 11s with it last year.
