i have a 94 3.4 camaro and it drives ok. kinda sluggish but anyways recently my reverse gear started kicking out. now it wont go in at all and if i try to use fifth it will lock the shifter inbetween 3rd and 4th gear and it wont go anywhere. why is it doing this do i need a new tranny?

I had a very similar problem with my old Honda Accord, ended up being a simple group of bushings on my shift linkage. Worth a shot, either grab a book and look at them yourself, or have a mechanic check them for ya. Bushings are pretty cheap generally, the labor can kill the price. But me being as lazy as I was had the "D"ealer do it while I was at work cost me like $200 and it worked perfectly after that. Um another thing that might going is a syncro, but I don't know for certain.

Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....3 days ago
