  • New clutch problem?

I just put a new clutch in my M49 transmission and put the car down after getting the tranny fluid in and all of the rest of it. Well the clutch would not go into any gear when i have the pedal to the floor. Now if i start it in first or reverse it will slowly move that way and the clutch grabs immidiatly on me releasing the pedal. Now would I have to bleed the hydrualic clutch line? I didn't think you had to if you didn't replace the slave cylinder or master. Also i got confused when reading how to bleed the clutch. What the hell do i need a tube for? Anyone have any idea on why i would attach a plastic tube on the bleeder screw like it says and where would i get it?

Also i took the car out and started it in first and drove the car around a few blocks shifting without the clutch pedal like you can and everything was smooth. So I'm baffled. Please someone help.
