I purchased all the parts to swap over to 5 speed, havent gotten into the details yet, i.e., is there a factory spot in firewall for the clutch master assy. to go through (2)computer changes?(3) is there a post along this topic, just tring to cover the bases before i start, also wiring, the clutch neutral safety switch wiring, is it taped up somewhere under the dash at factory for either/or trans, also reverse light hook up on trans(5 spd),extended from origional connection in console from auto shifter assyl. ?
you have to reflash the computer to a 5 speed , the wiring is not on the car so you need to get it from the donor car , there are no holes in the firewall you have to cut your own . and i just ran my neutral and reverse wiring underneath the shifter boot . i did this conevrsion on a 96. if you have any more questions let me know .
