second gear start is for driving your car on slippery roads. it starts the car in second gear everytime you start to move. This would mean slower starts translating to less tire spin (dangerous in wet weather, i had my 2nd gear start off when i first got my car and i spun around and hit a pole... yes i know it sounds stupid, but yes it actually happened to me). i then used it for a while whenever the roads were wet until i got a better feel for the car.
no, dont use it for launching in the 1/4 mile. it wont help, only hurt.

Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....3 days ago
