Im still a little confused about the 3 channel and 4 channel connections that come on the rear ends of firebirds and camaros. I have a 97 V6 FIrebird with traction controle, and i picked up a complete rear end with 3.42 gears and traction controle from a 93-97, at least thats what Contemporary Corvette said it is? I know that 93-97 had the 3 channal connections for the ABS, but is that also with the traction controle, or did 93-97 cars with traction controle have a 4 channel connection? It seems the new rear has a 4 channal connection, but i thought only 98-02 had the four channel? Also where exactly does the connector on the new rear end plug into under the car? How can i find out what connection my car has. Please help i will be pissed off if this is the wrong rear end, cuz i drove from N.Y to Bristol PA to pick up the rear end from Contemporary Corvette and must of told them at least 4 times that i want a 93-97 3.42 rear end with traction controle. If any one has any pics of where the connections go that would help alot.
