I'm deciding whether to spend my latest buncha $$ on an 1LE driveshaft, or get some new speakers for my car. No, don't give me suggestions.
My real question is... would the driveshaft be pointless, or would I see actual gains in hp and 1/4th? Don't wanna waste $220 for the aluminum 1LE shaft if it won't do jack crap for my car.
It helps everything to a certain degree. Lowers vibrations, less rotating mass, less overall mass, 1 piece (vs some of our cars w/ 2 piece). Is it worth the $220? Can't tell ya, don't have one. I'd say go for it, but that's just me. I'd personally pay around $100.

You already have a 1 piece steel, so you probably won't even feel a difference w/ the aluminum. You might gain a 10th at best in the quarter. I'm going to track next friday. The only modds i've done since my last track run were 1le ds & mandrel-bent s-pipe. I'll let you know if run any better.

The difference you'll notice is that the car will rev faster than before. you won't notice a lot of power unless you already have a lot of bolt-on's, cuz it'll free up all that power wateed turning an extra 12 lbs. of dead weight.
