I get between 27 and 29 on the highway depending on how fast i'm traveling. My rpms are in the 2400 range at 75.
You're around 3000 rpms at 75 with 308's? That seems kinda high...Shouldn't it be around 2000/2200?
Do you keep it in overdrive? or drive in "3" all the time?

I keep it in overdrive on the highway, around 65 its 2,300 rpm but once i hit 70 it starts to climb pretty fast but 70 at 2,000 rpm i dont think would be possible in my car, at least i havent experianced it.1996 Camaro 3.8L A4
*RK Sport Headers, RT High Flow Cat, B&B Tri-Flo Catback w/Quad Tips
*17\" Camaro SS Rims w/Firestone Firehawk SZ50 EP (275/40/17 Front, 285/40/17 Rear)
*SLP Speedometer Recalibrator
*American Sports Car SS Style Hood, Painted Green Disc Calipers and Drum Shells
*Charcoal Leather Interior

Hey that does sound a little high at 75 with 3.08's. I mean at 80mph I'm only at like 2500rpm if I remember right. I do know that at 70 I'm at 2100-2200rpm.*1997 Silver Camaro A4/3.08*
Best 1/4(December 17, 2003)
Race weight: 3580lbs w/driver
RT: .396 1/4: 14.93 60\': 2.08 MPH: 89.73
Mods
>Flowmaster 80 muffler (muffler only) >Homemade cold air with K&N 1000cfm cone filter >Trans-go Shift Kit >2400-2600 TCI converter
*1969 Camaro SS*
*502ci (92-octane pump gas)
*2-speed powerglide
Best 1/4:1.34 60ft 9.78@138.12mph (Aug 16, 2003)

In OD with my Y87, I'm turning 1000 rpms per 30mph. So 60mph is 2000, 90mph is 3000. I suppose 120mph would be 4000, if I could get it there in OD and get around the speed limiter!
Haven't checked the mpg in a while. Have 74000 total miles on it. Last time I checked, it was about 29mpg highway.\'98 A4 Camaro v6->v8 conversion, and STS kit next
v6: 13.6 Powerdyne, 13.2 150 shot, 13.8 120 shot, 14.3 85 shot, 15.7 stock
v8(na): 12.18@113, 392rwhp
Moderator on www.mtfba.org and www.frrax.com (Road Race & Autocross)
Car pics, TN Region SCCA
