There is a bunch of clunking comming from the drive shaft (i think). Is this typical..its been like that since i bought the car with 115k..it now has almost 140k on it..how much do new drive shafts sell for if this is my problem?

i know my old tranny moaned a **** load when i was decelerating in gear then the syncs went out
or if ure shure its ure ds it may be out of balance or it could be some thing else never know when trouble shooting a car

its a clunking sounds... and it comes right from under the center of the back seat...I have gotten under neith the car and pushed up and down on the drive shaft and thats where the noise is comming from. My dad took the drive shaft off once and put it back and it stopped for about a week then got sloppy again.
if you have a 2 pc, check the torque arm, make sure its on good, also, check the rubber grommet around the bearing in the middle of the driveshaft, when mine went out, my ds would hit the bottom of my car, also check the u-joints, they wear down and eventually will go out
