Hey guys, how you all doing? I just bought this shifter (the one on top) http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...32&prmenbr=361 Is it hard to install this shifter? Is it something I'll be able to do myself, I'm no mechanic, but I can figure I could figure something like this out. What everyone think of this shifter? Thanks...Kirk

very easy install. remove the center console, stock shift knob, and rubber boot underneath the console. Then take out the 4 bolts holding the stock shifter in and put hurst in its place(be sure to use a fresh bead to sealant around the shifter base). then reinstall your console and shift boot and you are ready to go.the black 97 <br /> New favorite Mods: Hptuners, and SLP 2OTL
