  • eltronic shift improver along with an actual shift kit?

I have the trans-go shuft kit with raptor servo and I have gotten use to it now. would there be any effect if I add something like the B&M eltronic shift improver thingy to the set up?

I've heard of a lot of people killing there trannys with those B&M shift improvers. They raise line pressure to make the tranny shift harder. That increases the heat in the tranny. If you use a B&M shift improver you should really use a trans cooler with it.

all trans shift kits, electronic or not all increase line pressure..

Increasing line pressure doesnt increase heat inside the tranny. If anything it would reduce it because there would be less clutch slippage (harder shifting) which reduces friction between clutches which in turn reduces heat.

Yea there would definitely be a difference. You could try it but personally id prolly just stick with what you have. I dont see where it would hurt though.

But then again, the higher the pressure, the hotter the fluid. So yes/no.
