  • Updated Question!: Where is the VSS located on a 97 Camaro A4?

Where on the tranny is it? Me and an experienced friend of mine were looking all under the tranny (even after switching the Tranny Mount) we couldn't find it period.

It HAS to be intact still because the Speedo DOES kick in at times (like when I hit a bump) and reads accurate for awhile and then kicks out...

We looked on the driverside of the tranny near the tailshaft and driveshaft, same for the rightside and looked up front too although we doubted it was there...

    Any other clues?...
