yes the mount goes bad. easy to replace though. I need to do mine but I dont want to have to modify the crossmemeber for a poly mount and I dont want to pay 50 bucks for a stocker that i will just break again.

My car was doing the same thing too, the shifter was just bouncing up and down when just cruising, so when i put the tranny back in im just gonna put a new stocker mount back in. I just dont really want to go hackin' on the tranny crossmember, and adding 1/2 in. spacers and what not. But replacing the mount would be easy. Jack the car up, position jack under tranny, loosen the transmission crossmember (held on by 4 bolts), unbolt mount, put new one in and just bolt everything back on.

TC...whats happenin' man? I've just been keepin on, just working on my car, and trying to graduate. Damn man i havent talked to ya in a while...we should hit up the track sometime. Well after i get my car back together. The transmission's out, and pressure plate and clutch is off. Just waitin on a tool to get the flywheel off. So your mount is screwing up to huh? What you done to your car lately?
