    Nah, Those 5.0L Mustang T5's are going for ~$800 in the junkyards with over 100k miles. :eek:

    I've decided to go with the G-Force kit. [img]graemlins/bowdown.gif[/img] Approximate rebuild price of $1500 not including shipping. I'll actually send it off sometime in early August. I'd like to get it rebuilt and installed prior to the F-Body Reunion in September.

    So far, my $300 junkyard tranny is holding up fine. I'm taking it easy on the shifts. Don't want to blow this temp tranny out with the 238.5 lbs-ft my car is laying down at the wheels (280 lbs-ft estimated at flywheel). Quite a bit more than Tremec's max torque capacity of 230 lbs-ft. Go figure! :rolleyes:
