ok, so ive narrowed it down to two axles. assuming warranty is the same on both axles which would you choose? the first choice is an axle with disk brakes, 3.23 and posi. If I got this one I would replace the 3.23s with new 3.42s...the total price for this option is 600. The other axle is a setup wth disk brakes 3.42 and posi. The total price for this one is 650. so whih one? I guess my question is is it worth it to replace the gears outa the one with 3.23s or should i just pay the extra 50 and not mess with replacing anything?

well, if the axles are used, i would say get the 3:23 and put new gears in. but if they r new. get the 3:42

Since you get to check out the axle before you but it, check out the gears see if there worn. If would be best if you didn't have to replace them, so you don't have to worry about the gear instal being messed up.1999 Pontiac Trans Am M6 Far from stock.....
