yes i did a search but couldnt pinpoint on astraight answer, I have an M5 and Im wanting to upgrade to a new axle w/ disks and 3.42s or 3.73s, when i do the axle swap, what expenses am i looking at? (like any kinda cables orwhat?) also past posts mentioned tht intense makes techedge recalibrator? I cant see it on their site anymore or maybe im ust blind....would it be cheaper to have my pcm flshed by a dealer? thanx a ton

Well he said he searched and couldn't find an answer. Having spent a lot of time searching I can feel his pain since many times when you search you get conflicting information or just plain wrong information. His questions seem just fine to me.
I did a gear swap but not an axle swap so I can't speak for what you will need for an axle swap.
However, as far as the mini-recalibrator from Intense I believe they have quit selling it. You can still get it from ZZperformance:

Getting your PCM flashed from a dealer or custom programming is probably the better way to do it IMHO. (If you can find a dealer that will do it).
Although, please note you can only get your PCM flashed from the dealer if you go with 3.42's as that gear ratio is available from the factory.
