I just left a dealership in birch run michigan and was told that I didn't need a new VIN for Y87. the guy said he would just have to get ahold of the 3 digit codes that represent the lsd and 3.42 gears from GM and he would program the Y87 package in my car with the current VIN. Just thought Everyone should know that its easier than having to hunt down a car with the package and steal its VIN. Hes charging me 70 dollars.
