Loud clanging noise

On my way home from work..

I popped my clutch in 3rd and hear a loud pop and then constant clanging. I was able to limp home the last mile, but now when I do not have the clutch peddle pressed in I hear a loud clanging from under the car. I assume it's my clutch. Any suggestions or thoughts on what it could be?

At idle If I push in the cluth peddle it does not makes the noise. If I let it out it starts back up again. I can put into gear fine (all 5 and reverse)

Here's what the problem is for future people who do a search.

It's the transmission. I'll have to get it rebuilt.
