  • Torsen in a 93?

Does anyone know if a Torsen rearend from a 98+ will fit in a 93 manual?

I did a search but didn't find anything. I know they don't make them for anything before 98, so I am not sure if they will fit.

I cannot believe you didn't find anything from doing a search... this has been discussed so many times.

Yes the rear will fit, and you will the have disc brakes in the rear.

      the only thing

the 98 disks or biger in the back it could thought off your braking a little,

and i dont know if it will work cause i think 98 and up are 4 channle abs where 97 and under are 3 channle

let me look that up to be sure

Nah, that is not what I am looking for. Not regular posi, but Torsen. As far as I know it has no discs, it is all gears. It uses a worm gear, so it doesn't wear out, and transfers torque better than regular posi.

          Here is their website. http://www.torsen.com/

oh ok. my mistake I thought the comment about discs was referring to inside the diff. but it was talking about the brakes being different.

guess i should go back to elementary school and learn to read again.

anway... thanks for the info, it helps
