Would this be a good deal to catch? Below is a convo that me and the guy had. We both live in SoCal so this would be a pickup (no shipping). Should I tell the guy to take the cover off, or would I really need it. Plus, would this be an easy transfer onto my 98 firebird? All comments are welcomed. I'm in need of a new rear ASAP. Thanks.
I have a 10-bolt rear with 3.42's. Fairly low miles and in good shape. It has a LPW rear cover.

Just wondering if you're still interested in making some kinda deal for the 10-bolt.

Ya sure. It's in good shape, the only thing it needs are the brake backing plates, which you can use from your old rear. You just have to pull out the axles first (very easy to do).
It has an LPW rear cover on it already.
I want $300 for it. The cover alone cost me $150.
This rearend has around 35K on it, that is relatively low mileage.
