  • to install, or not to install... lsd

I got my lsd finally and REALLY want the biotch in. I'm not sure if I should install myself or take it to a mechanic. I am mechanically inclined for something like this but also don't wanna screw up my gears. I've heard equal do's and don'ts from both sides. What should I do?

Do it! Its easy. Just pop the ABS reluctor on and bolt the ring gear on the new differential and in she goes!

    Easy Bolt on.

If your car has 3.42s now (or 3.23s for the M5 guys), you can reuse the reluctor ring that's in there.
If you've got 3.08s, you'll have to get a new one from SLP.
