I was looking at getting a new clutch. The one in particular is the spec stage 3. I was wondering how much a typical installation would run me. Also would there be ANY performance gains? I dont think so but thats why I ask. Also Ive searched and everyone says that Star Spec clutches are the best, and that they come with everything needed. Is this true? Also which option should I get kevlar ceramic or carbon?
thanks.

Cost me 250-300 for the install, i dont remember exactly how much it was... I want to say it cost me like 310.00 and it was done by an extremely competent shop that works on race cars so i knew it was in good hands and came with an installation warranty.
I love the clutch by the way but man does it like to chatter :(

That made little to no sense. But to help, I love my SPEC Stage 3. It does chatter still after several thousand miles though. But it has thus far handled everything I've thrown at it, including the 100 shot, and multiple 3000+ RPM clutch drops on the spray. You'll love the clutch's performance in racing, on the street you learn to deal with a little chatter, less if you know how to drive it well.

I'm gonna get a spec clutch pretty soon. I haven't decided between a stage 2 or stage 3.
I have an 85 shot and I am getting DRag radial real soon too.
I drive the car to school and work everyday, so I want something that is somewhat user friendly. Should I be a wuss and get a stage 2 or be MANLY and get a mightly stage 3?
Its really easy to install a clutch. I have done it myself a couple times.

If you ever plan to put down morepower later, say jet up, or get ballsy and spay it out of the hole. You'll be glad you paid $20 more and got stage 3!
