    how many transgo shift kits are there for 98+?

    the guy i took my car to has been messing it up horribly, its been 3 days now and my car MIGHT get done tonight... first he didnt think it was the right kit and the gasket didnt fit or somthing, then he had to order the corvette servo and a non-plastic piston "because the stock ones will break" then today he fried my solenoids and i have to pay 66 bux to replace them.. wtf is this dumbass doing to my car. all of this stuff hes doing without myconsent.. i mean basically he sais "i had to order this and that and this" originally the price of this whole job was 125 labor and then 25 parts (tranny fluid and such) NOW i am freakin horrified to see what hes about to charge... i woudlnt be suprised if it gets to 300...

    125 labor
    25 parts
    15 piston
    60 vette servo
    33 (x2) solenoids
    and anything else he throws at me...thats a grand total of 291... what did i tell you. ****ing 300 dollars, that bastard my car wont shift into 3rd he says.


    Edit: he claims that the solenoids shorted out because of the shift kit and from age... my car is a 2001 with 33k miles on it....

    You'll probably be more mad if I told you how easy it is to change shift solenoids. 30 seconds with a flathead screwdriver.

      345 bucks... THIS IS A ****ING RIP OFF I HATE THIS MOTHER ****ERS GUTS!!! I COULD HAVE DONE THIS MYSELF EASILY (EXCEPT MAYBE THE GRINDING PART) WTF HOW THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN! MY ORDIGINAL ESTIMATE WAS 150 NOW ITS TWICE THAT AND ALMOST A HALF HOLY ****ING **** YOU HAVE GOT TO BE ****ING KIDDING ME. SO MUCH FOR MY NEW ****ING HOOD GOD DAMN PEICE OF **** I WANT TO STRANGLE THIS MOTHER****ER RIGHT NOW. HELL I COULD HAVE GONE TO THE PLACE THAT SAID 225 FOR THE WHOLE DEAL AND I WOULD HAVE SAVED ****ING 125 BUCKS (HIS ORIGINAL LABOR FEE) HOLY ****ING LORD AM I PISSED OFF THERE GOES ALL OF MY MONEY FOR A ****ING SHIFT KIT AND NOW MY CAR HAS ****ING TRANNY PROBLEMS WHOOP-DEE-****ING-DOO ILL SLEEP WELL TONIGHT!

        your tranny is still fecked up?

        I woudl sit in front of his shop and tell everyone that comes in what happened to you until he agrees to fix it.
