    Not without some serious customization.

The T5 will not handle the amount of power either of those engines will put out. Without heavy modification that tranny will crumble under extremely high torque applications. It would be cheaper to find a more robust transmission originally mated to a 350 than use your existing T5.

The T-5 is good for around 300ft lbs of torque. If you need more you can max it out so that it can safly handle up to 600HP. It is expensive though.

        Check it out...

Look at those prices!!! $1550 to upgrade your T5!!! You'd be better off getting a Tremec T-3550 TKO or a T-56 for $300 more! http://sallee-chevrolet.com/ChevyTra...ons/gmt56.html

Yep, probably better to get another transmission. It is expensive!

I wrote to that company to ask if they can use different bell housings and input shafts, etc so you could bolt in a small block or even a big block... no answer yet. :( I'll post if I hear something.

If you have a V6 V-body T-5, NO, the bolt pattern will not match up to a Small Block Chevy (or LS1)
You may be able to use an adapter but you're in the same boat as T-5 to T-56 conversions in V6 cars. Possible, but are you that serious is the question.
