Can I just get brake lines, calipers, rotors and roter plates (I think thats what they are called) Or do you need a disc brake style axle?

speed automotive (turned strikers auto parts) used to sell a kit for 125, i was getting ready to get it and i think they went out of busniess or something. i just tried their website today www.strikersautoparts.com and its gone. i also know that billy grahms auto sells them for more like 240. tacreations has them also. it comes with backing plates, calipers, rotors, ebrake lines. everything needed for an install. i just recently posted a pretty good writeup about the install. if you get it done it will probably be between 200-300 dollars

You mean backing plates for disk brakes? Yes.
Everything you listed above will be fine, just don't forget about emergency brake cables for disk brakes, and you're ready to go.
The axles are compatible, and so is the rear housing.

Sucks though, I bought the whole 3:23 posi setup (housing, axles, calipers, backing plates, e-brake cables, etc.) for $150.00. The only thing was, I picked it up myself from a guy that has a junkyard full of f-body's about 20 miles from me. If you get the rear shipped, they rip you a new one because of it's weight
