my car kind of stutters before it shifts into 3rd gear? when i am going about 45mph. if i drive normally (not giving it alot of gas) the car acts like it doesnt know if it should shift, it sounds like i am pushing the pedal up and down. why is it doing this?

Sounds like your 3-4 accumulator may have took a dump. The accumualator's job is to make your shifts nice and smooth. If the seal or the piston and bore go bad, it will leak and give you the problems that you are experiencing.
