The thing is that I can get my hands on a LSD from a 99 Trans Am WS6 which had like 14k on it.
I s it worth putting it in or I should get a new one from Auburn which is going to be like $400.
I have a 98 with T5.
The LSD I can get has 3.23 in it which have.
If I were to install it what else beside the gear oil would I need?
PS of right now I dont have 400 to burn on a new LSD + gears.
how does it have 3.23 gears? i thought all trans ams came with 3.42. how much is the lsd out of the trasam gonna cost you? i bought the t/o zexel from slp, haven't installed it yet, but i haven't heard any huge complaints about the zexel from people on this board.
then Auburn is based on like 50 year old technology. if your going to spend that much money, get the heavy duty Z/T for 500. if not, get the $95 T/O unit from ammperformance
