  • spin them but no smoke:(

I've been doing brake stands all over the place, but my tires dont want to smoke. What is up with that? I cant even get them to leave black marks. Does this mean the tires are a hard compound?

How long to you do you wait? Depending on the weather, if it's colder out, you'll have to sit there longer waiting for the tires to heat up and smoke. Do you have a lot of tread left?

Another thing you could do it pour some bleach on the tires. That produces a lot of white smoke. Or, if not bleach, just poor a little water on them. Water will also help them to smoke more.

It also depends on the surface you try it on. Black top will smoke really fast, while a regular street surface may take longer. Try brake standing it for about 20 seconds...then I'm sure you'll leave some marks and smoke.
