Ok, when I'm engaging clutch at low rpms (just regular acceleration), when it slips a little before engaging I get pretty bad vibration... it gets annoying after a while... also it's very hard to get jerk-free shift, cuz every time I switch between gears, no matter how smooth I'm with the clutch, it will always jerk just a tiny bit. Also I get CLUNK from differential when engaging clutch sometimes. What are possible causes of these problems? I was thinking about checking U-joins first of all, then differential fluid. But vibration when engaging clutch.. does that mean warped flywheel or clutch disk?

are you sure that the clunk is from the differential? cause that sounds kinda like a broken or loose tranny mount. mine had a lot of vibration and a lound clunking noise when shifting for a while. i climbed under the car to find that one of the bolts that hold the transmission to the mount had fallen completely out and the other one was half way out, so it was the transmission jerking around making the clunking noise. it's worth a look, not hard to fix, etc. just an idea

Yep, I'd check the tranny mount first thing...Then possible the torque arm bushing, but you don't often hear of that one going bad before the tranny mount.

Hmm... funny thing is that it does it when the car is warmed up. Also the shifter doesn't seem to move up and down (usually a sign of bad mount). The whole car shakes. When it's cold it's super smooth...

Also it might be dumb questions, but what is torque arm, what purpose does it serve and where is it located and what does it connect to?

Mine did the "clunk" on engagement before I put my driveshaft in. The U-joints were good, but the girdles that hold the U-joints down were loose, both on the rear and the front. Make sure they are tight. Unless you are doing something wrong when shifting, the car should shift very smooth. After driving this car for a few months now, it's the smoothest shifting car I've ever driven. My girlfriend noticed the other day that I was upshifting and downshifting and she told me that she wouldnt have even known I was doing it if she didnt see me rowing the gears! Depending on the miles of the car, your clutch and/or release bearing may be on it's way out if gear changes are jerky....

The driveline clunk is normal. I have had it since new and it only dissappears if you let out the clutch smoothly. Even car magazines note the "usual" f-body driveline clunk in their articles. As for the shaking, it's prolly glazed fly wheel. This usually happens from lugging your engine. Everyone that I know who drives a stick and lugs their motor has this, including me with my prevoius 5 spd BerettaGT.
