What's up guys? It's been a while. Anyway, the other night i was gettin my performance numbers with a g-tech, when i started to notice a slipping sensation on take off. it wasn't wheel spin. at the same time, i also heard clunking. it is also clunking into second gear. my car has the 4l60-e tranny. the sound seems to be coming from the rear, back past the tranny through. i'm thinking it could be the rear end layin down, but i'm not an expert. that's why i come here. [img]smile.gif[/img] if anyone has any ideas what it could be or things i could check, please help. thanks in advance.

MY car was making lots of clunking sounds from the rear. I have a two peice drive shaft and the center joint is bad. You can get under the car and push up/down on the driveshaft and if it makes clunking sounds in the center then thats the problem. It will have to be converted over to a one-piece. Im getting a new one today.
did your's do the slipping thing to? where it feel like something is slipping?

Check your u joints and the center of the driveshaft most likely you seized up a u joint or the barring in the middle. If you did I would recommed going to a one piece.
