I know they make 3.42 gears for a series 2 carrier. But, do they make a LSD or posie for a series 2 that would fit the 3.42's???

The 3 series carrier is the LSD. You can find the three series carrier (LSD) and the gears on ebay for fairly cheap. I got a set of 3.42's and a LSD off a 2002 less than 10,000 miles on them.

3.08s really aren't THAT bad. i mean, ya, 3.42s are better, and ya, 3.23s are better, but 3.08s have their top end advantage. i'm sure you could spend the money on other mods that would help you out even more. higher numeric gears are good for NA runs, but lower numeric gears are better for un-NA runs. so if you want a super in the future, leave the 3.08s or maybe get some 3.23s. too much gear will kill you though up top later on when you add a power adder of some sort.2000 NBM M6 Camaro Z28<br />323/335
