My 3.73 gears and LSD are scheduled to arrive shortly from SLP for my 96' Maro. Anybody know a reasonable estimate of labor cost for the gears, LSD, and the Electronic Speedometer Recalibrator?
Also, will I have to take my car to a dealer to change the PCM or can most shops do that or is it even necessary? Expected costs of this?
Will I have to change the PCM again when I get wider tires in another month?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

most shops around here charge around $200-$300 for the install. it's very involved as far as getting the backlash right and all that stuff, so they charge more for it. it can be done at home, but unless you're knowledgable and have some good tools, don't recommend trying it.
