ok you car fanatics...why don't you guys give me some of your opinions as to what the absolute BEST mods to make to our v6 f-bodies are (and you quarter mile time too, if you got it)...and that's without superchargers and nitrous. for god's sake we can't all afford those kind of mods. thanks...i'm curious to see what you guys have done and what i should probably do.

this should be in general, but since it's here...
first, get your intake done w/ a lid, removed maf screen, and a cold/ram air intake. there will help you get much better throttle response as well as some good seat of the pants hp gains(you can feel it go faster). if you have 3.23 or 3.42 rear gears and limited slip, good, if not, get some. these really help acceleration(gears) as well as traction(lsd). next, get a cat-back exhaust. do a search on the various types of exhaust to get. our motors resond extremely well to any aspirational changes such as intake/exhaust. next, an engine bay brace and/or subframe connectors would be good. they stiffen up the chassis and make the car ride better overall. getting bigger front/rear swaybars also help the car greatly, reducing body roll in corners as well as increasing tracion off the line. Hope this helps.2001 Arctic White Firebird
T-Tops, 3.42 rear gear stock
Mods:K&N Air Filter,Whisper Air Induction Lid, maf screen removed, raised air box, Kumho Ecsta 712 255-50-ZR16 tires, BMR stb
Mods not installed yet: FTRA, SLP Lsd/Differential cover
Near Future Mods: HPP3, GMMG 3\" Exhaust , 1LE Swaybars, Transgo Shift Kit, MSD-DIS-4 w/ Accel Coil-Packs, Turquoise Blue Neon Underbody Kit, BMR Adj. the lid? the lid is the black thing that has a blue yellow sticker saying something on it, you get that replaced with a whisper lid, which allow more air flow into the engine, 3.42 gears will give you better acceleration, but slower speeds, LSD will shift power of one wheel to the other rear as well (the left that is) KN air filter will filter the air and let it flow into the engine a bit better than the one that comes with the car... cold air intake will pick up cold air giving you a better performance... all air related stuff will give let u know youre going faster when you are actually going fast so that the air is actually coming in catbacks are nice, but cost alot more then rear sections only... if you can afford 500-700 go for a catback instead this was a little confusing, but hope it helps :D
