Ok got my car back, after 341 dollars total for tranny fluid, gaskets, corvette servo, 2 new solenoids, 2 replacement aluminum piston things to replace the plastic ones that break, and labor, i have my car back

i was a little pissed off that it was more than double the original estimate but hell i got my car back and ive learned a very valuable lesson and now im going to be hella picky about where i go and what i do. anyways. shift kit is awesome. so much faster shifts very crisp and firm... only scary thing is that they say that the tranny is like a grenade and if you **** up by leaving it in first and overrev the engine, you can either ****up the engine or you will blow the tranny apart.. anyways ill prolly just leave it in drive from now on LOL feels so much faster..... now i need to get my muffler on :0

peace and cheeze.......get a shiftkit but only if you can afford to get analy raped..

From what I understand you don't have to get rid of torque management to get a shift kit. However, torque management will reduce its effectiveness somewhat.

Also, you shouldn't mix any custom pcm tuning that increases the line pressure with a shift kit. Either get a shift kit, or pcm tuning that firms up shifts, but not both.
