  • Broken poly mount?

How many of you guys have worn out your poly mount? My car makes a popping noise when I downshift real hard or accelerate real hard. The shifter moves quite a bit also. I thought these things were supposed to be good...

believe it or not, mine JUST started doing that also. My shifter has been moving more than normal after a night i had of heavy racing.

I havent checked it yet, but it is an energy suspension poly on there now.

I have to look when i find some time.

you wont find a poly one that will fit, you have to drill the crossmember.

For my poly tranny mount I had to cut a window in my crossmember. It was ..... fun.

Only way to find out is take the biatch off and look. Mine looked perfectly fine but was almost broken in half when I actually removed it to replace it.
