How many of you guys have worn out your poly mount? My car makes a popping noise when I downshift real hard or accelerate real hard. The shifter moves quite a bit also. I thought these things were supposed to be good...

believe it or not, mine JUST started doing that also. My shifter has been moving more than normal after a night i had of heavy racing.
I havent checked it yet, but it is an energy suspension poly on there now.
I have to look when i find some time.Comment

you wont find a poly one that will fit, you have to drill the crossmember.Comment

wierd I have heard of them breaking not common and not really of v6s but I guess its possible. Only one way to find out climb under and look.Comment

Only way to find out is take the biatch off and look.
